Fresh Fall For Unified 🍂

Welcome to the Unified Newsletter where we update you on all things Unified, have some fun, and tell the best dad jokes around! This September is a bit of an offseason with no Live Events and Premier/PGCQ both being done for the Summer so we are enjoying some relaxation as well as a reset as we head into the end of the year. We’ve got a lot of fun competitions coming up that we hope to see you all participating in as well as a FRESH look at many of our products! Sit back, relax, and ‘fall’ into the ride of this Newsletter 🙂

Joke of the Month

We have to start off every month with a great joke to lighten the mood and really ‘fall’ow a fun format (more Fall puns on the way this is only the beginning). Today’s dad joke is brought to you by none other than our RETURNING Premier title Valorant:

Although we have no Live events this September, we don’t want to ‘leaf’ 🍂 you hanging, we want to take a moment to look back at August’s All In event as well as look forward to a STACKED lineup in October with SLU and L’Auberge!

All In - We had $15,000 in prizing in Lawton Oklahoma with $10,000 going to our main event of Call of Duty! With it being CDL offseason, we got to see some big names come out and plenty of amazing teams with Iron Blood Gaming winning the whole competition! It was so awesome to get to meet and interact with the COD community through Twitch chat and through the interviews on stream and we LOVED the feedback/praise many of the superstars gave us! Here’s what they said:

Esports Festival SLU - Our BREAD AND BUTTER (not literally) is coming to SLU with $15,000 in prizing but $10,000 of that being split evenly between Valorant and League of Legends. Live Events for us have always had great competition but we are really looking to improve on the community by having several influencers and cosplayers at this event! Be sure to stay tuned for some awesome info and content regarding that!

L’Auberge - An event we’ve never done, Unified is ‘Fall’ing down south to Louisiana for another event.

Unified Premier is back this month and we’re hoping to make this the best season of Premier in 2022! Here are some changes we are making based on feedback from the community to help improve the product:

1. No Subscriptions. Flat Entry Fees.
2. Improved Rule Sets based on community feedback
3. New ticket and announcement protocols
4. TOs in voice channels during games for better communication
5. Entry Fee transparency:
   - Prizing - 65%
   - Tournament Ops - 20%
   - Broadcast - 13%
   - Marketing - 2%

Premier is set to begin Thursday September 22nd with the return to Valorant and we can’t wait for the competition! Here’s an explanation of the Format for ALL of our upcoming Premier leagues done by the fabulous Decerux!

• Some of the Unified team are heading to Chicago for the LCS Finals! Be sure to look for Ramsey, Garrett, Leanne, Paige, Grant, Tim, and Evan and they may have a special Unified Magnet to give you 😉

• Birthday Season!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MR. GRANT AND MRS. BECCA! Grant will be celebrating his 26th birthday (Welcome to the Esports retirement home buddy) on September 12th and Becca will be celebrating her birthday on September 11th 🎂

• Join us for our first Discord Community night hosted by our very own Jay! Friday, September 16th from 7pm - 9pm CT we will be playing League Customs with whoever would like to participate!
