LCS Proving Grounds Circuit Qualifier #1: Open Qualifier

DESCRIPTION

Unified has partnered with the League Championship Series to operate the Summer LCS Proving Grounds Circuit Qualifier #1. With the main event starting on May 30th, the Open Qualifiers begin May 23rd with 32 teams, which the top 16 placing teams from the OQ will advance to PGCQ #1. Each PGCQ OQ and main event will provide points into the PG main event and a prize pool of $12,500 USD per PGCQ. The top 10 teams from the PGCQ #1 & #2 will advance to the Summer 2022 LCS Proving Grounds main event to compete with Academy teams for a chance at the title.

The purpose of this event is to provide a platform for players to compete at the highest level, before taking the next step as a professional League of Legends player. Unified empowers esport organizations and players through our platform to help them take that next step into the professional scene. Come join us during this event and watch some of the top North American Amateur and Academy players compete for a spot in the LCS Proving Grounds Circuit Qualifier #1.

  • *All match days are Monday's and Tuesday's starting at 3pm PT each day

OQ and Main Event Information:
  • 32 Teams Maximum
  • Top 16 Qualify for PGCQ #1
  • OQ Games will be played on LIVE NA Server
  • Main Event Games will be played on Tournament Realm
  • Entry Fee: N/A

OQ Format:
  • Swiss Bracket
  • Qualifying teams must have a minimum score of 3-2 (Three Wins and Two Losses)
  • Day 1 (5/23) - 2 Bo1s
  • Day 2 (5/24) - 3 Bo1s

Main Event Format:
  • GSL Groups into Single Elimination Bracket
  • To advance to the Single Elimination Bracket teams must go at least 2-1 in the GSL Groups stage.
