Tournament Story
Format: 1v1 - Double Elimination
Join us for a
Mario Kart 8 tournament open to the public with up to a
$50
prize up for grabs!
This tournament is capped at
64 players.
Our cash prize will be split between the top 3 players--total prize pool will be determined by the amount of players registered in bracket.
Schedule:
- 1pm Check-in
- 1pm Doubles Round 1 Starts
- 1pm Mario Kart 8 Round 1 Starts
- 3pm Singles Round 1 Starts
- Rounds played Back-to-Back
- 5pm Expected End
The tournament will have a $50 prize.
The total payout for top 3 will be split as follows:
- 1st = 50%
- 2nd = 30%
- 3rd = 20%
All tournaments entrants require a Venue Pass to participate. You can purchase additional tournament passes for other tournaments.
All equipment provided; players are welcome to bring their own controllers or other peripherals!

What to Do Onsite
- Before your Activity starts, Check In at Registration.
- All Tournaments require at minimum a Venue Pass and Tournament Pass to participate. You can purchase additional tournament passes for other tournaments.
- Go to Your Zone to Check In for the Activity:
- You will be playing in the KU Memorial Union for this Tournament.
- Once you find the Tournament Offical for your Event they will guide you through the next steps
- Quest Givers and Tournament Officals will be there to direct you.
