Unified Esports Association to host Esports Festival Sporting KC

WICHITA, KANSAS, May 17, 2021 - The Unified Esports Association is excited to announce our partnership with Sporting KC to host the Unified Esports Festival Sporting KC, this summer on July 9th & 10th at 1 Sporting Way, Kansas City, KS 66111. All weekend long, we'll be hosting a variety of tournaments with a total of $5,000 in prize pools with weekend pases starting at only $30 per pass. Doors open on July 9th at 2:00 PM CT and close at 10:00 PM CT. The second day of the event, July 10th doors open at 10:00 AM CT with the event wrapping up at 10:00 PM CT. Players of all skill levels are invited to compete; the simple formats and free tournament entry makes this an accessible entry point for esports enthusiasts! Play like the pros on Unified's main stage by competing in tournaments, or participating in one of several gaming-related Quests that reward attendees for completing missions or passing certain milestones throughout the weekend. Ultimate • Tekken 7 • Teamfight Tactics • Valorant • Wild Rift Previously known as Midwest Esports, the Unified Esports Association has a rich history in operating on-site events throughout the midwest. One of the most popular events being the Wichita Esports Convention where top players across multiple game titles fly out from around the country to compete on stage. More recently Unified has shifted to operating online events such as hosting the League of Legends Unified Grand Prix, an LCS Proving Grounds Tier 1 Tournament. As well as providing broadcast coverage for the Riot Scholastic Association of America’s College Championship Round of 32 and 16.
