One Week Until Esports Festivals Return!

We are one week out from Unified's very first show back since 2020, and we're excited to see everyone next weekend! We have several updates regarding on-site activities and special guests, so make sure to check out the schedule below or follow us on Twitter (@UnifiedEA) for live updates as we kick off Esports Festival Kansas City!

This July 9th and 10th, join us at Children’s Mercy Park -- the home of Sporting KC's professional soccer team. In partnership with Sporting Gaming, Unified will be hosting a 2-day, open tournament and gaming celebration weekend. Open to the public, spectators and players alike are invited to adventure through all four floors of gaming competitions and activities, with over $5,000 in cash prizes being awarded throughout the weekend.

General admission weekend passes includes access to every activity or tournament on-site, and cost $30. Professional esports players and collegiate teams will be visiting to compete in special showcase matches, and to present live on stage. Currently planned topics include “How to Go ‘Pro’ in Esports” with KC Pioneers’ Mark Josey taking the stage at 4pm Saturday, as well as Park University’s Ashley Jones speaking on “How to get Scholarships in Esports” at 11:30am Saturday.

In addition to the gaming elements planned, attendees can also look forward to seeing costumed guests located throughout different themed zones. Attendees themselves are invited to compete in an open Costume Contest at 3pm Saturday, with over $1,000 in cash and merchandise prizes available. Special prize sponsors Planet Comicon, Combo Collectibles, and Nebraska Furniture Mart will provide several opportunities for players, cosplayers, and general attendees to win a variety of gaming prizes through door prizes, competitions, and raffles announced on stage by special guests.
